While they took in a Pomsky dog named Okami last May, the animal had some health problems. In their Instagram story, the couple explains that they were forced to take him to the vet on Monday, July 8 due to an attack. “We were out for a walk, we passed a street where there was a Malinois at home, he jumped over the fence and lunged at Okami”says Floriane. “He took her in his mouth, we managed to get him to let go, except tonight Okami threw up and cried.”. Concerned to see their dog in this state, Julien and Floriane don’t waste a single second and take her to the vet.
For his part, the owner of the Malinois has agreed to pay Okami’s veterinary expenses. “We encountered a person who was very concerned about our dog. He is going to do dog training for his dog and above all he is paying us all the vet costs.”, adds Floriane. The couple then explained that their pet now had to undergo treatment. “She’s got a little sprained kneecap, so she’s on an anti-inflammatory and an anti-emetic because she’s throwing up quite a bit,” explains the mother. “If the kneecap really doesn’t recover, there will be surgery, but we’re not there yet, we’ll wait and see what the treatment does.” In her video, she does not hide the concern her family felt at the time of the attack: “We were very scared.” Since then, Julien’s wife has not hesitated to give news about Okami on Instagram. On Wednesday, July 10, she posted a video where the little dog frolics quietly in the garden. She seems to be doing better already.

In July 2023, Julien was hospitalized after a stroke. The candidate for season 3 of Love is in the meadow had undergone heart surgery at the time, which was believed to be the cause of his stroke.
