A cat had lived by a church for many years. One day she started following someone she trusted and eventually changed her life.

For many years, a gray and white cat had lured by a church and trapped hearts from ecclesiastical and pasters town. Among her admiration was Stephanie B., a volunteer for Little Wanderers NYC.
“Every day I passed by, I would make a little click sound with my mouth and she knew it was me and she would come up to me, scream and request her scratches, pets and hopefully a snack,” Stephanie shared With Love Meow.
“She was super friendly and loved attention from get-go.”

For a while, Stephanie believed the cat, sparkle, belonged to the church until she spoke with the church member.
Sparles was a stray who found refuge in the church and trusted strangers. She had the courage of Mary Harsh Winters and Hot Summers and survived the treacherous city streets. “I was in full shock because of how kind she was.”

Each time, Stephanie is sparkling, she would slip through the fans to greet her and puree a storm. “I was told I could save her if I wanted to.”
Over the next few months, sparkle wandered from her usual place. When Stephanie Fincly saw her again, she contacts the team at Little Wanderers NYC, who pulls out immensely to help. “After about a week of control every day, sparkles were back by the church.”

“I heard her breathing and it was bad. I could tell that she had a bad upper respiratory tract infection and it got really cold outside,” Stephanie added. “I asked sparkles to follow me, as she has often done – she knows she gets a can of wet food. She waited for me outside while I went to get the food and my carrier.”
When Stephanie placed the can in the carrier, Sparkles went straight in and marked the end of this chapter.

Sparles was rushed to the vet for the treatment and care she desperately needed. “She made all day long in the vet’s office. She is so happy, satisfied and grateful to be indoors,” Little Wandered Nyc shared.
With the support of the rescue, Sparkles spent a few days recovering from the hospital. When she was better she moved to her fetal home with Michelle M.

After years of striking the streets, Sparles entered a loving home for the first time. Although she was still new to her surroundings, she quickly found comfort and insurance from her foster family.
“She was so kind as we walk on her, Immoredelly Purring and Loving or Nuzzling us,” Michelle told Love Meow.

“The first day she was afraid of sounds and hidden under things every once in a while, but she was a lot of confidence (more than my resident cat).”
Sparles are so happy to be sure they often push her people and shower them with gratitude. “Her favorite thing is to be upside down – if literally can’t get enough of it. She has trouble relaxing if she is a pet and she has to constantly go back and past.”

The sweet girl shadows her foster mother around the house and stares up at her until she gets her attention. She flourished in a full -time love error, with her personality shining through now that she is free of worries.
“From the cold, snow -capped, rough streets to a nice, warm, cozy home. Promoting this girl’s life saved,” added Little Wanderers NYC.

Thanks to the compassion of her rescuer and many volunteers thrive sparkles in care. She purres and snuggles every day with loving people by her side – dream comes true after years of outdoor life.
