If you passed by at the beginning of August 2022, you could see that the facade of the future restaurant KFC on rue du Gros Horloge in Rouen was completed. Sign of an imminent opening? Here is the inauguration date of the fast food.
The 300e KFC opens in the heart of Rouen
The agency in charge of the chain’s communication tells us that an inauguration evening is scheduled for September 6 for the fast food restaurant. An event which aims to mark the opening of the 300e KFC restaurant in France, leading “at the local level, the creation of nearly forty jobs”. Recruitment advertisements are still open online on various sites.
The brand specializing in fried chicken is settling in place of a historic stationery store. An installation that has not been without arousing criticism from some Rouennais.
Indeed, the emblematic rue du Gros Horloge is already full of different fast food outlets, starting with KFC’s direct competitors: McDonald’s and Burger King. The competition will be all the tougher with the upcoming arrival of Big Fernand just a stone’s throw away.
