Rescued at two weeks old, these kittens now have so much energy that they have impressed even the family dog.
Cheetos and FritosAsa
Cheeto and Frito, the ginger tabbies, were two weeks old when they came to Today Tomorrow Forever Animal Rescue for a chance at a better life.
A volunteer stepped forward to provide around-the-clock feeding and lots of TLC. After each meal, the kittens snuggled together and even cleaned each other’s faces.
They thrived on bottle feeding and grew into plump, happy and wiggly kittens.

As they became more active, they began to explore their nest, eager to escape into the wider world. To provide more socialization and space to play, they were moved to a new nursing home at Asa.
They ventured around their new digs and quickly made themselves at home. At 4-5 weeks of age, their demands for attention and play multiplied.

Before long they settled into the coziest places they could find in the house: their foster mother’s shoulders and lap.
“They are both very affectionate and loving; they come running to greet me every time I walk into the nursery and will immediately jump into any lap they find and start shooting up a storm,” shared Asa with Love Meow.

The feline brothers began to “assist” their foster mother during work hours, offering cuddles and wisdom from her lap or shoulder.
They often doze off to work, but somehow their spinners keep on rumbling. “My legs fall asleep and go numb at least once every day because all they want to do is curl up in my lap and fall asleep.”

The kittens enjoy having a spacious play area, but they are especially happy to have a canine friend to keep them company.
The wife, who thinks she is part cat, warmly welcomed her. She tucked them into their new bed and gently washed their faces like a mother. The kittens adored it, purring loudly and soaking up the affection.
They love their dog nanny KonaAsa
Their dog nanny watches them run around and pounce on Asa’s feet. They jump, flop and tumble like little tornadoes, their endless energy keeping everyone entertained.
“They absolutely love to play, and if I’m not in the room, all I hear is the sound of their paws clapping.”

When the kittens met Mikan, the resident cat, they felt a kindred spirit and followed him as if they were family. Although Mikan was unsure of his similar shadows, their constant purring soothed his soul.
“They’re non-stop purring machines. The only time they’re not purring is when they’re running around the room wreaking havoc.”

Cheeto has unleashed his inner wrestler and wrestles with a stuffed toy nearly his size. With expert flips and throws, he parades around like a champion. Even Kona is impressed with this little ginger WrestleMania.
Nothing can stop these kitties from living each day to the fullest, with their ginger personalities shining through.

Cheeto likes to chatter at a quill toy and show off his ferocious big cat energy.
After a long day of hard work, they crash on their foster mother’s lap, side by side, dozing in near-perfect synchronization. The world may be their playground, but their human’s lap is always their favorite bed.

Cheeto and Frito have blossomed into the happiest and most playful young cats, bringing joy and laughter wherever they go.
