On June 24, 2022, the Supreme Court of the United States, the highest court in the country, decided to reverse the constitutional right of access to abortion (abortion) for women. Each of the 50 federated states will now be able to choose whether or not to legalize abortion.
25 million dangerous abortions
Dozens of people mobilized in front of the town hall on Saturday July 2 in the morning, brandishing signs, to protest against this setback in reproductive rights and to support American women. A gathering at the initiative of the Louise Michel young workers hostel in Beauvais, with the participation of the associations Solidarité Migrants and Destins de Femmes, the League for Human Rights (Beauvais section), the FSU, the prefecture and of the city of Beauvais.
