After that of the Pyrénées-Orientales, the order of lawyers of the Paris bar, in a press release signed by Julie Couturier, president of Paris and Vincent Nioré, vice-president, wanted to react in turn to the official declarations of the City of Perpignan qualifying master Ilyacine Maallaoui, lawyer for the investors of rue de la Cloche d’Or and the influencer Nasdas, as “defender of Daesh”.
“We have taken note of the press release published by Mr. Louis Aliot, mayor of Perpignan, on July 28 entitled “The influencer Nasdas takes a defender of Daesh as a lawyer””indicates the bar of lawyers of Paris. “We condemn in the strongest terms this communication from a local elected official, who is also a former lawyer, who is deliberately trying to attack the honor and consideration of our colleague Ilyacine Maallaoui.

We denounce this publication which directly undermines the independence of the lawyer and the free choice by any person of his defender. Any assimilation of the lawyer to the alleged offense and to the litigant he is defending must be vigorously opposed in that it calls into question the fundamental right to a fair trial from which everyone benefits, in all matters.
We give our full support to our colleague and have a special thought for all the victims of the attacks of November 13, also instrumentalized by this publication.
