Justine and Thibaut come to us straight from Deauville. They fell in love with Cotentin last January (yes, yes, in the middle of winter!) and are determined to brighten up the daily lives and the taste buds of Cherbourgeois.
They have just opened the restaurant la Musette, we went to meet them.
We were very well received here, a lot of kindness and solidarity on the part of the people of Cherbourg.
A successful opening
Cook since always, it is Thibault who is in the kitchen. Justinewho studied communication and works in the restoration since he was 18, leads the boat with him.
The couple have the keys to the restaurant (formerly Cotentin Cocotteand even earlier The corkscrew) since the beginning of June. After a lot of works and facilities, they welcomed their first customers last Wednesday. A full first evening, people delighted… It’s a good omen!

And on the plate ? A maximum of local productssmall French producers galore and a menu that changes regularly as it adapts to seasonal products.
And to get your good meal flowing, count on their wine cellar which is full of organic winesbiodynamic or in conversion.
We offer bistro cuisine, simple but well done. What we want is to make people happy.
