While a few months ago, Ottolenghi put Parisians in a trance by teasing the upcoming arrival his first restaurant in the capitalhe treats us a little more by this time lifting the veil on a new project book with recipes. Comfort. This is the title of this new opus, which leaves very little doubt about the content of the work. In this new collection, Ottolenghiaccompanied by the chefs Helen Gosh, Verena Lochmuller And Tara Wigleyimagined over 100 new dishes to celebrate cooking and intimacy.

Recipes at a time familiar and new, nostalgic and modern. By recording all the classics comfort food in his sauce, the chef takes us on a familiar road, to the destination anyway surprisingly. Thus one simple pasta dish is transformed here thanks to caramelized onions, roasted hazelnuts and fried sage leaves. Another example, a puree apparently fundamentally transformed here into garlic aligot and roasted leeks with thyme.
An intimate and universal book
