A young woman spent over 700 euros to buy a purebred French Bulldog. But a few weeks later, his surprise was huge.
Bethany Cupples is 21 years old. She wanted to make a gift to her mother, by buying her a dog. But not just any, a purebred French Bulldog. She spent more than 700 euros for it, and got the puppy back at the age of 5 weeks. The animal was named Luna.

The puppy’s muzzle began to lengthen
Bulldogs are particularly characterized by their flattened face and flattened nose.

But after a few weeks, the puppy bought by Bethany began to have a long nose. Luna, who was already part of the family, has, so to speak, transformed. Her hair became shaggy and the dog looked nothing like a French Bulldog.

Bethany took Luna to the vet
Bethany was convinced that her mother’s dog was not a Bulldog. To find out for sure, she went to her veterinarian. The doctor confirmed his intuitions. Luna was a French Bulldog and Yorkshire Terrier mix.
Fortunately, the young woman had fun with this misadventure, reported by The Sun. Her mom and her love it Lunaand do not regret this choice. Bethany had fallen in love with the dog from her first meeting.
“Regardless of breed or price, we welcomed her into our family home with open arms. […] She made our family whole and we wouldn’t change her for the world. She has the most amazing personality and is fun. We love him madly“, said Bethany.
She shared her story on TikToksaying “We bought a “purebred French Bulldog” puppy. […] and this is what it turned into”.

Internet users have been harsh with Bethany
After sharing it, Bethany received several harsh comments from users of TikTok. Some told him that the dog didn’t look like a Bulldog, even at 5 weeks old. Others reproached her for not having informed herself enough. Finally, someone alerted her to the fact that a puppy shouldn’t be sold that young, and that should have given her a heads-up.
