In Sweden, a plant-based fake meat brand decided to create a vegan burger that tastes like human meat. Objective, to encourage consumers to taste its products.
And good appetite, of course ! A new vegan burger is on the menu, the Human Meat Plant-Based Burger, developed by the Swedish company Oumph!
“We immediately created this burger, as soon as we knew what taste and texture we wanted to go,” explains Anders Linden, co-founder of Oumph!, in Insider magazine.
On Halloween last year, the company set up a food truck in central Stockholm that offered “the scariest plant-based food ever.”
‘No humans injured’
The Human Meat Plant-Based Burger is actually made from soy, mushrooms, wheat protein, plant-based fats, and a blend of spices.
Thus, the company likes to remind that: “No human was harmed during the development of this product”.
