When she was admitted to hospital, Jan Holman was devastated that she had not been able to say goodbye to her horse Bob and her dogs Monty and Rowley. But she did not know that she had fallen into the hands of caregivers who were going to do everything to give her a smile…
At the age of 68, Jan had to rush to theGood Shepherd Hospice at Chesterin England, after learning that she was suffering from a serious illness. In addition to having to deal with this terrible news, the lady was heartbroken for not being able to say goodbye to her faithful pets.
She lived with a horse named Boband 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Monty and Rowley. Her life by their side was nothing but happiness, and it was heartbreaking for her to have to face her destiny without their presence.
The caregivers then arranged to give him the most beautiful gift
Jan Holman couldn’t believe it. And yet, it’s good Bob, Monty and Rowley she saw that day.

The hospital staff had mobilized to bring the 3 animals to their mistress. The 2 dogs went to his room, to his bedside, while Bob stood in the yard, managed by members of his stable.

Jan was finally able to find his horse, if ” important ” to his eyes. She no longer expected to see him again one day, because of the constraints linked to the presence of animals in hospitals. The rider was able to stroke it one last time and feel a little more peaceful.
It was a real relief for her and her husband, Dennisand a nice way to comfort Jan in the last moments of his life. Grateful to the hospital, Dennis now takes the time to invest in it with his dogs, as seen in this video where he pays tribute to his late wife.
