The personality test below is based on a very simple principle. For a few seconds, observe the picture before you deduce a particular animal: the dog or the cat. The one you want to see allows you to know the faults you tend to hide from others. Rest assured, this test is not meant to judge you. Its purpose is to entertain you while guiding you towards deep introspection.
A dog
Is this the dog that caught your eye during the test? It seems you are one who has hard to say no to others. This is the defect you try your best to hide. It is difficult for you to refuse something because you feel that you are deliberately harming your interlocutor. You are afraid of conflict with the people around you, so you have made it a habit to agree to help them, even if you don’t always feel like it.
To people you don’t know personally, you seem distant, even unsociable. But the truth is, you don’t want to find yourself in an awkward situation. In fact, if they were to ask you something, you would probably give in. It is strongly recommended that work on this trait.
In English we use the term “man satisfied” to designate a person who likes to please others at his expense. You have to learn that say no and above all not feel guilty afterwards. Know that you do not have to give reasons for your refusals. It is perfectly normal to be in a bad mood or unwilling to help someone. And there’s nothing wrong with refusing, especially if it’s in your best interest.
Of course, your interlocutor may get upset, but his reaction is not your responsibility. The idea is not to leave anyone in need, far from it. But if you find that you don’t have enough energy to be of service, give yourself the right to say no. You can start small by turning down small tasks. This will allow you to exercise and feel less guilty, slowly but surely. Giving in to everything is binding in the long run and it makes you more harm than good. It is high time to prioritize your well-being and your personal development. We cannot please everyone, but we can manage to please ourselves by listening to our own needs and desires. So if you don’t feel like hanging out with friends or your partner, let them know.
A cat
For those who noticed the cat long before the rest, you might be hiding a fear of failure. If people think you are a procrastinator, the truth is that you are afraid of not completing a task. You therefore prefer to play the nonchalance card and act as if the situation does not affect you. We often see you as being someone irresponsible and you don’t try to fight it. You have a hard time saying what you feel, especially when it comes to unpleasant feelings like fear. It is highly recommended to show you honest with yourself to begin. Then you must be sincere to your loved ones, they are counting on you.
By reacting with so much nonchalance and being irresponsible, no one will trust you anymore. Once you know that this is not your goal, you will surely realize that this behavior needs to be changed. It goes without saying that this does not happen overnight or with a magic wand! This requires commitment great work on yourself in order to develop. Try to rationalize the situations you face. Fear is a normal and legitimate feeling, but it shouldn’t stop you from responding.
It is advisable to step out of your comfort zone little by little, even if it is not comfortable at first. The next time you are given a task, for example, you must do your best to engage more. If you are given a responsibility, face your fear instead of running away from it. You will gradually overcome this fear of failure.
You’ve probably heard the expression that says “never a failure always a lesson“. Make it your life’s mantra to face obstacles. If things don’t go your way, take a step back. On the contrary, if everything goes well, be proud of yourself. In any case, it is important that you learn to overcome your fears and that you invest in the realization of your life projects.
