Dobby had a rough start. This 6-month-old dog was on the verge of death, alone on a road in Louisiana in the United States. But luckily, a good Samaritan came to his aid. Now, thanks to the efforts of volunteers, she is happier than ever.
At the end of August 2022, when severe heat hit the State of Louisiana to United Statesa man discovered a young dog crawling on a busy road.
The unfortunate, later named dobby, suffered the high temperature of the bitumen. She was also seriously emaciated and hairless.
The individual therefore stopped his vehicle to rescue her. After watering her, he contacted the association Bayou Buddies for her to take care of her.
dobby was taken to the veterinary clinic for a thorough checkup. It turned out that she suffered from severe demodectic mange which not only causes itching but also loss of coat.
A long way to his new life
dobby was entrusted to a caring and loving foster family. She received many therapeutic baths aimed at ridding her of the mites responsible for her discomfort.
In addition, his benefactors prepared good little dishes of healthy food suitable for puppies.
“At first, she rested a lot in her new basket to regain her strength”they told People.
dobby now felt better about himself (literally) and regained his zest for life. It was decided to airlift her to the shelter. Greater Good Charities so that she has a better chance of meeting adopters.
dobby already looked completely different. Her hairs were growing back slowly, revealing their beautiful colors.

Fortunately, Thursday, September 15, 2022, the shelter published the good news on its Facebook page. A young man fell in love with the resilient young lady and wanted to adopt her to give her the warm home she deserved.
dobby began his new life with his master to the angels. A beautiful and long existence filled with joy is therefore announced for her.
