Stella, by her nickname, had a very difficult start. She was abandoned in a landfill and used the garbage bags as a basket. Fortunately, good Samaritans came to her aid and allowed her to become a magnificent, fulfilled and pampered dog.
Stella was cowardly abandoned when she was just a puppy. She survived in a dump for almost a year by eating food scraps and using garbage bags as mattresses.
The association Pooches Out of Puerto Ricowhich specializes in the rescue of canines in the States of New York and some New England to United Statesrescued him following a report.

The poor little girl suffered from severe scabies, was infested with worms and had a hookworm infection (due to parasites). Besides, she was extremely skinny. “She only weighed 4 kilograms”a spokesperson told The Dodo.
Stella therefore received emergency medical treatment aimed at treating his itching as quickly as possible and eradicating the parasites. She was also fed frequently in small amounts so that she regained weight without damaging her fragile digestive system.

New start
Heather Adreson Martin and her husband were looking to adopt a furball to expand the family. “A colleague told me about Pooches Out of Puerto Rico, so my husband and I contacted them. We instantly fell in love with Stella”confided the woman wishing to offer him a sweet and peaceful life.
As soon as the state of health of Stella was under control, she was able to integrate into her new home. The young dog has finished her convalescence with caring and loving masters. And she grew day by day.

Some time later, his owners adopted another rescue dog named Lulu. The 2 congeners never leave each other and together enjoy a new life filled with tenderness and crazy adventures.
“Stella has been a ray of sunshine on a daily basis. She just wants love and she’s really perfect.”concluded his mistress to the angels.
