For nine days, the Italian village settles down again at the foot of the cathedral for moments of taste and moments of conviviality.
Organized by the Villard association, originally from San Remo – a town known for being the finish of an Italian road bike race – the Italian village takes over its neighborhoods for nine days.
Located on the Place Étienne-Dolet, it will consist of around ten gastronomy stalls, a restaurant but also handicrafts representing different regions of the peninsula.
La dolce vita at the foot of the cathedral
For gastronomy, the choice is varied between cold meats, cheese, pasta, antipasti, panettones, cakes, biscuits, Sicilian wines, marsala, limoncello…
For crafts, the public will be treated to clothing, handbags, Murano glass jewelry, tables and lava stone ceramics.
An Italian village installed until Sunday at the Place de la République in Saint-Amand-Montrond
The village also takes part in the Music Festival on 21 June with various activities. As a partner for the event, the France-Italy association will have a stand on the square in the Italian village. The Villard association and France-Italy underline the help of the city in the implementation of this new Italian village, now established in the landscape of activities offered by the city of Berruyère between art and coziness. A meeting place for Italy lovers for a moment of dolce vita at the foot of the cathedral.
The inauguration of the village will take place this Saturday, June 15 at 10:30 a.m. with the mayor of Bourges. The village will be open every day from 10:00 to 20:00 and the restaurant will operate for lunch and dinner (06.32.85.73.55).
