France knows its first potential adversaries. Winners of Honduras (3-0) and Guatemala (2-2, 4-2 TAB) respectively at Estadio Morazán in San Pedro Sula, the second largest city in Honduras, in the semi-finals of the CONCACAF zone U20 championship , the United States and the Dominican Republic have validated their tickets for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. A great feat for both nations, the Americans having not played in the Olympic tournament since the 2008 edition in Beijing, while the Dominicans will have the pleasure of participating for the first time in history. A performance all the more historic as the latter, led 0-2 at half-time, reversed the situation in two minutes and snatched a fateful penalty shootout.
