USA narrowly win against Chile

The Americans defeated the Chileans by the narrowest of margins, 22-21. The two teams will face each other again on 07/16 for their second test match against each other. The Americans started this meeting very strongly, scoring a try in the 6th minute through Dyer. But the Chileans are not let down, and return to the game by chaining the penalties. They also benefit from the awkwardness of MacGinty, author of a 50% on foot today. The Americans start the second period as they started the first, scoring a try after 5 minutes. But the Chileans respond tit for tat and register one 7 minutes later. Unfortunately for them, Pifeleti’s converted try in the 74th minute put them 8 points behind, and Videla’s late try was not enough to prevent the American victory.
