Rouen, a city of a hundred steeples and hundreds of restaurants! In the Norman and gourmet capital, there is no shortage of good restaurants. And regularly, new restaurants come to enrich the offer of the city.
Because in summer, we have a little more time to take advantage of it to have a little restaurant, we have selected a few new addresses to test in Rouen.
Le Lé Where Normandy and Reunion meet
Le Lé Là opened on June 15, 2022 rue Saint-Étienne-des-Tonneliers. It offers an amazing mix of bistronomic cuisine from Reunion and Normandy. Something to satisfy lovers of culinary exoticism, with for example sea bream tartare accompanied by Norman cider ice cream and a sausage rougail with kaffir lime.
Le Rollon, Normandy-style street-food
Opened last April, the Rollon is located rue du Gros Horloge, in place of the old Paul. In this pub, we don’t just drink beer. You can also taste burgers (or rather “børgers”) revisited in Normandy sauce, with smoked brioche bread, local potatoes and good local cheese. Behind this project, we find Ragnar Brewery.
Comodo, the joys of a good salad!
The burger is good but not the most balanced. For several months, at 55 rue de l’Hôpitalwe can opt for a custom salad at Comodo, the “seasonal snack” restaurant opened by Agathe Picot. We compose our dish with local and seasonal products, we accompany it with a small dessert and off we go! You can also enjoy generous sandwiches.
Together, flavors from Asia
We had tested and loved the restaurant Together, opened in April at 118 rue Beauvoisine. Here, you can discover Hong Kong cuisine while being in downtown Rouen. Bo lo bao, beef French toast, shrimp toast, ramen noodles… We savor it and we are often surprised!
