They took a kitten who looked defeated on the shelter and gave him hope and many new adventures.

When Emilie Rackovan, the founder of the Thrifted Kitten Animal Rescue, saw an intake photo of a kitten from the local animal control, broke her heart and she felt competent to help.
“Covered with oil, he was completely and completely defeated. The amazing staff at Madacc worked hard to make it comfortable, but he fought in the shelter environment,” Emilie shared.
Shemithly reached out to the shelter and offered to take him in.

Haley, a volunteer with the rescue, welcomed the kitten into his home and began to look after him. He was covered with an oily substance that required several baths to clean off, and he had stains with missing fur on his body.

“At just 2.5 pounds, the veterinarians estimated him about six to nine months old. We named him Stuart Little.”
After arriving at care, Stuart Little was eager to explore and embark on new adventures. Although he was just the size of a two to three-month beer kitten, he refused to let something hold him back.

After getting everyone cleaned up, he devoured his food and filled his stomach to the brim. In a comfortable space that was free of noise and stress in the shelter, Stuart relaxed, and the sadness of his face disappeared.
With his noticeably improved apptitit, he began to fill.

Since Stuart Little is much less than he should be, Emilie and her team are determined to understand why and help him grow strong and healthy. “After a full work on the vet, we learned that Stuart probably has a heart disease that causes his little stature and Wonky apperance.”
He loves cozy blankets and will never run out of soft spots to throw himself into.

Kayla, another volunteer, went together to care for Stuart and make sure his fetal journey was smooth. Upgraded to a spacious room, the kitten was happy to discover new toys and fresh blankets, and his adorable personality began to shine through.
With extra space to run the surroundings, his adventurous side -cam alive as he happily explored every corner.

He is transformed from a forler -Killing that has been curled up in a shelter kennel to certainly settle out as if he owns the place. “Stuart Little has bloomed in care and traded in his greasy coat for a fluffier, cleaner look.”
Like his namesake, he is incredibly small and loves to continue “adventure”.

With newly won energy, he goes for his toys, even standing on his hind legs to reach them and enjoy every moment with his caregivers. Stuart is still very small, but now has a devoted team of caring people to make sure his future is light.
“We are so grateful to Madacc for giving this sweet boy lucky and our animal foster parents for saying yes to him.”

Stuart Little loves his new life where he will never feel lonely and can enjoy all the chin rides he has ever wanted.
