The small Brownies is a beloved dog by its owners. So when he mysteriously disappeared, their world came crashing down. They moved heaven and earth to find him, without success. Until the end, the dog finds home alone and surprises his whole family. Thanks to the footage of their surveillance camera, we can share their happiness with them and imagine the strong emotions they must have felt.
Challenging research
Steven Beltran and his relatives live in Colombia. They are dog lovers and they have 3 of them, but one day one of them is called Brownies, disappeared. He disappeared, no one knows how.

Confused, they immediately went out to find him. For 7 days they gave everything they had. They made posters with the image of the dog and promised a reward to the person who brought them back. And they gave of themselves through exhausting days both physically and mentally.
“There were days of searching, days we didn’t sleep, days we didn’t eat“, told Steve on The Dodo. “All we could do was think about Brownie.“

After a week, the deliverance
If the research did not lead to anything, as far as he was concerned, little Brownies actively sought a way to return home. After 7 days he finally found his house and the surveillance cameras Beltran filmed everything.
In the pictures we discover a closed gate. Behind, the road traffic is in full swing. The small Brownies arrives at his house. He lays down and manages to squeeze through the narrow space under the portal.

Moments later, off camera, we guess he’s found his parents when we hear shouts of joy. Everyone keeps repeating the dog’s first name as they pace back and forth in front of the gate to understand where it came from.
It is a real moment of celebration that begins. Relatives hug each other, shout, jump for joy and, above all, cover up Brownies of caresses. Even the other 2 dogs in the house are overexcited. This spectacle of happiness is very moving and you can discover it below:
“Thank God he came home alone. He was a little tired, quite thirsty and hungry“, said Steve. “I can’t imagine what he went through the seven days he was away from home. Now he is spoiled.“
