WASHINGTON, July 23 (Reuters) – U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Saturday the United States strongly condemns the Russian missile attack that targeted the Ukrainian port of Odessa earlier in the day, adding that it held Moscow responsible for the the escalation of the global food crisis.
The attack “undermines the work of the UN, Turkey and Ukraine to get much-needed food to world markets,” Trump said in a statement.
Kyiv accused Russia of having fired several missiles against the port of Odessa, the day after the signing of a quadrilateral agreement signed by the two camps, the UN and Turkey.
