There Poppy Foundationan animal rescue organization based in California (USA), took care of an extremely unique cat named Snowball. The white-furred feline did not have a tongue, but had still managed to survive despite this major handicap. He is currently receiving health care and a fund has been opened to help his rescuers finance it.
Snowball lived down the street from Las Vegas among about fifteen cats, reported 8 News now. Benefactors asked for help so they could be taken care of. The goal was to make sure they were healthy. Most actually did well, and some were put up for adoption. Others, more wild, were treated before being released into the wild. On the other hand, one of the cats in particular badly needed help: Snowball.

An astonishing physical attribute
After examining him, the benefactors discovered that he had no tongue. Sarah Harperan animal rescuer, wondered how he had been able to eat and drink until now. She added: ” It’s a miracle he survived this long. He can’t take care of himself and we don’t even know how he eats or drinks. The vet had never seen anything like it “.

A mobilized community

Internet users have been very receptive and to date more than 8,000 euros have been raised to help the felines: ” We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of support we are receiving. This exceeds our expectations in the best possible way. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity » wrote Sarah Harper. She said the extra money will be used to care for other cats.
