VIDEO. Jubillar case: the Advocate General requests the continued detention of Cédric, Delphine’s husband

The closed-door hearing began at the end of the morning before the investigating chamber of the Toulouse Court of Appeal. Séverine, the companion of Cédric Jubillar, came for the first time. Sitting on one of the benches in the courtroom, she met the detainee’s gaze for a few minutes before the president of the court evacuated the room for the closed session.

Cédric Jubillar’s lawyers plead for the release of their client a year after his imprisonment in the Seysses remand center. On June 13, the judge of freedoms and detention opposed the release of the 34-year-old plasterer painter accused of having killed his wife, Delphine Jubillar.

After several hours, the hearing ended at 2 p.m. The judgment is expected Monday, July 4. The Advocate General requested the continued detention of Cédric Jubillar. For their part, the defense lawyers declared: “We will continue our fight and our client will be cleared”.
