The 46th promotion of National Police cadets received their epaulettes on Tuesday, January 24, at the Training Department, formerly the National School of Dakar. A total of 1,262 police students were made available to the police force for the security of property and persons in the country after graduation. Among these 1262 there are 16 commissioners of police, 56 constables, 275 sub-constables and 909 constables. The graduation ceremony for the students of the 46th promotion of the National Police took place in the presence of the Minister of the Interior, Antoine Félix Diome.
For the Minister of the Interior, the integration of these new elements in the National Police will undoubtedly be of great benefit to the institution and the Senegalese population “the workforce of this 46th promotion consisting of 1262 police officers will contribute to strengthening the human resources of the National Police for better management of the requirement for security…”.
Antoine Félix Diome also indicated that this massive recruitment of police officers is part of the program to increase the power of our national police.
