Adopted in September 2017 at the Bergerac SPA, her cat, baptized Ramsès, had disappeared on a Sunday in August 2019 after his usual walk. “We searched everywhere, moved heaven and earth, investigated the neighborhood, put up posters,” says the Bergeracoise. In vain. The cat never came home and after three years, its owners had grown used to the idea of never seeing it again.
Injured, identified
Finally, Saturday June 4, 2022, when she arrived at Petit Maine, she received a call from the La Cavaille veterinarian, telling her that a man had brought back her missing cat. “I let you imagine my amazement”, comments Dominique Biarnes. She learns that Ramses had been living 5 km from her home since the winter of 2021, in the garden of “guardian angels for tomcats”.
One day, the feline is injured and the owner of the garden decides to take him to the vet. This is where the animal is identified by its chip.
