At the border between Mexico and the United States, the explosion of migrant smuggling

STORY – The number of people apprehended at the US-Mexico border has never been higher, despite harsh and dangerous conditions.

What local newspapers call “the tragedy of San Antonio” is “a consequence of the tightening of the migration policy”, denounces José Andrés Sumano Rodriguez, professor at the University of the northern border, in Mexico.
