Following Christian Kanu’s departure, as we announced in our columns, Tokio Marine Europe has just appointed Vanesa Herrero as its new general manager.
The upcoming arrival of Christina Kanu as the new CEO of Generali Global Corporate & Commercial, as we announced earlier this week on News Assurances Pro, changes the management of Tokio Marine Europe (TME), a subsidiary of the insurance company Tokio Marine HCC International (TMHCCI).
The insurance company has just appointed Vanesa Herrero, the company’s current director of claims, as the new day-to-day manager. “In addition to her new role, Vanesa will continue to oversee TME’s claims function”, the insurance company explains in a press release. Vanesa Herrero is a graduate of the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the University of Glasgow and has spent her entire career with Tokio Marine in Spain, where she joined in 2001.
“Having worked at TMHCCI for over 20 years, Vanesa has extensive expertise and knowledge of the European insurance market and is uniquely qualified to lead our European business, which continues to grow and expand.”commented Barry Cook, CEO of TMHCCI.
