The company AMI Assurances announced that it had achieved a total turnover of 148.6 million dinars at the end of the first nine months of the current year, against 107.1 million at the end of September 2021, an increase of 39%.
This extraordinary development includes the completion of a large capitalization life insurance contract. Excluding this contract, the change would have been 7%.
Non-life insurance had a turnover of 103 million dinars against 102 million as of September 30, 2021, i.e. a growth rate of 1.1%, which mainly comes from the increase in premiums issued by the auto, transport and health industries.
Issued life premiums increased by 40 million dinars, increasing from 5 to 45.2 million dinars between September 2021 and September 2022. This increase is mainly associated with the acceleration of bancassurance and the completion of a major contract in capitalization.
As for the awarded prizes, they increased by 0.4 million dinars from 5.5 to 5.1 million dinars.
Settled claims amounted to a total of 78.9 million dinars against 65.9 million per September 30, 2021, an increase of 20%. This increase in settlements is explained by the acceleration of the settlement of claims, especially for the automotive industry of 12 million dinars.
Financial products increased by 10.3 million dinars, from 12.1 to 22.4 million dinars, while commissions increased by 25.5% mainly due to the increase in premiums issued life.
