Disappointing since the beginning of the year, the French-born Tribhuvan (Toronado) is making headlines again in the Resorts World Casino Manhattan Stakes (Gr.1). Taking off from the first meters of the race, he achieved a real lone rider, counting more than 6 lengths ahead at the start of the straight. He never softened and passed the post with more than three lengths over his boxing companion at Chad Brown, Adhamo (Intello) a former Wertheimer who, associated with Flavien Prat, finished pleasantly after having had to wait to find his day. Favorite Gufo (Declaration of War) settles the peloton for third place. Bred in France by Jean-Charles Haimet, Elza and Hannah Petit, Tribhuvan wins here the second Gr.1 of his career and offers an eighth Manhattan Stakes (Gr.1) to his trainer.
