Better insurance coverage with Air Caraïbes

The Caribbean airline Air Caraïbes in partnership with AXA Partners further enriches its insurance offers for an even more peaceful journey on its lines…

Air Caribbeana French airline specializing in the Caribbean and Guyana, e.gst since 2016 partner with the AXA Partners groupa key player in the assistance and travel insurance sector. Since the establishment of this partnership, the company’s passengers have already had the opportunity to benefit from guarantees in the event of unforeseen events such as cancellation insurance, interruption of the stay, repatriation assistance or coverage of luggage in the event of theft, loss or damage.

However, the two companies decided thatfurther enrich the two insurance formulas to respond to the current or potential health context.

Both insurance offers now include Covid-19 coverwhich in particular gives the opportunity to cancel the journey in the event of contraction of Covid-19 before departure:

  • L’cancellation insurance allows cover before departure until check-in
  • L’multi-risk insurance covers the client from start to finish: before his departure, during his stay and until his return. As part of this insurance, medical teleconsultation is now offered, which allows you to contact a French doctor 24/7 and pay the costs of extending your stay. Medical expenses are covered up to 150,000 euros.

In both formulas the duration of the insurance must be less than or equal to 90 consecutive days.
