China renews the threat of retaliation against US tariffs

Taipei, Taiwan – US President Donald Trump’s trade war with Canada, Mexico and China is rising upon the production and import of the opiatfentanyl, along with trade surplus and illegal border crossings of migrants from around the world.

Here’s what Beijing says about it:

China has repeated its threat to take “necessary countermeasures to defend its legitimate rights and interests” after Trump’s decision to impose 10% tariffs on China to allegedly have done too little to curb the production of precursor chemicals for Fentanyl.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs statement, which was issued on Sunday, did not mention any specific retaliatory measures, but said “China calls on the United States to correct its wrongdoing, maintain the hard-won dynamics of Counternarcoticics cooperation and promote stable, healthy and sustainable development of China-US -Relationships. “

China says the US action violates the rules of world trade and has promised to bring a case for the body that governs global trade.

The Ministry of Public Security on Sunday made close to identical charges, and the Ministry of Commerce also issued a carefully formulated statement.

Trump accuses China of having allowed Fentanyl production, which is then made for tablets in Mexico and smuggled into and distributed throughout the United States, which detects about 70,000 overdose of deaths annually.

China says the United States should keep itself instead of “threatening other countries with arbitrary duties,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said. “The United States have to see and solve its own fentanylic question in an objective and rational way … (China is) one of the world’s toughest countries in country arcotics in terms of both politics and its implementation.”

Experts say China performs an unknown number of people every year for smuggling drugs, but domestic drug use is relatively low.

The Ministry of Public Security said the United States has not reported any fentanyl forking fittings derived from China since Beijing began taking litigation.

China’s huge trade deficit with the United States reaching nearly $ 1 trillion last year has been a constant target of Trump’s complaints. Tariffs would make Chinese goods more expensive for US consumers who eventually have to pay a significant part of the cost of importing everything from toys to clothing.

China’s important export market could be affected if US consumers decide to “buy American.” The Chinese domestic economy has failed to respond to a number of government -backed stimuli, while foreign infrastructure projects and other major government initiatives adding to the country’s already high public debt threaten more economic stagnation.

It has already begun to derail Chinese President Xi Jinping’s push to overtake the United States in key economic and political indicators that threaten his ultimate ambition to conquer Iceland Republic of Taiwan and claim Chinese precedence in the Indo-Stockhav area.

Stopping illegal immigration has also been one of Trump’s central political messages and was appointed customs action against American neighbors Mexico and Canada. Illegal arrivals from China are considered a fraction of such numbers, but Trump has made virtually every country with a message that he will hold them responsible for their citizens entering the United States outside the law.
