This year, many players operating in the agriculture and livestock sectors have been victims of disasters that have caused huge investment losses.

In addition, some of them had demanded compensation from the supervisory department through a sit-in.

According to Minister Nagnalen Barry, the transitional government is deeply affected by this situation.

Therefore, instead of full compensation, the authorities have decided to use the agricultural development fund to be able to provide a loan adapted to each individual affected.

“There is a window open at the level of the Agricultural Development Fund for interest-free loans with a duration adapted to their needs”, he confided in the microphone of our colleagues from FIM FM.

The Minister of Agriculture and Livestock urges all concerned to act quickly to take advantage of this opportunity.
