Elon Musk calls on the US government to “erase entire agencies”

Dubai, the United Arab Emirates – Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (AP) – Elon Musk called on Thursday to “erase entire agencies” from the United States Federal Government as part of his push under President Donald Trump to radically cut down on spending and restructure his priorities.

Musk offered a far-reaching study via a video call to the World Meeting in the world governments in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, about what he described as the priorities of the Trump Administration, ISPEDD several references to “Termonuclear War War” and the possible dangers of artificial intelligence.

“We really have a rule here about the bureaucracy as opposed to the government’s rule of democracy,” said Musk, wearing a black T-shirt that read, “Technical support.” He also joked that he was “The White House Technical Support”, which borrowed from his profile on the Social Platform X, which he owns.

“I think we need to delete whole agencies as opposed to leaving many of them,” Musk said. “If we do not remove the roots of weeds, it is easy for the weed to grow back.”

While Musk has spoken at the summit in the past, his performance comes on Thursday as he has consolidated control over large cuts of government with Trump’s blessing since he assumed leadership of the Department of Government Efficiency. It is included sidelining career officials, accessing sensitive databases and invited a constitutional clash across the borders of the presidential authority.

Musk’s new role reviewed his comments with more weight in addition to being the world’s richest person through his investments in SpaceX and electric car manufacturer Tesla.

His remarks also offered a more-insolationalist view of American power in the Middle East, where the United States has fought wars in both Afghanistan and Iraq since September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

“For example, there has been a lot of attention to USAID,” Musk said, referring to Trump’s dismantling of the US Agency for International Development. “There is like national endowment for democracy. But I’m like ‘Okay, how much democracy have they achieved recently?’ “

He added that the United States under Trump is “less interested in disturbing other countries affairs.”

There are “times that the United States has been kind of intrusive in international affairs that can resonate with some members of the audience,” Musk said, talking to the crowd in UAE, an autocratically controlled nation of seven sheikhoms.

“Basically, America should keep in mind its own business rather than pushing for regime change everywhere,” he said.

He also noticed the Trump administration’s focus on eliminating diversity, justice and inclusion work at a time that connects it to AI.

“If hypothetically, AI is designed for DEI, you know, diversity at all costs, it may decide that there are too many men in power and performing them,” Musk said.

At AI, Musk said he thought XS’s newly updated AI -Chatbot, Groch 3, would be ready in about two weeks and at one point called it “kind of scary.” He criticized Sam Altman’s leadership of Openai, which Musk just led an acquisition bid of $ 97.4 billion, describing it as akin to a nonprofit aimed at saving the Amazon rainforest by becoming a “timber company cutting down the trees.”

Musk also announced plans for a “Dubai Loop” project in line with his work in the boring company – which engraves tunnels in Las Vegas to speed up transit. However, he and emirati -government official who spoke to him offered no immediate details of the plan.

“It will be like a wormhole,” Musk promised. “You just wormhole from a part of town – boom – and you’re out in another part of town.”
