Lhe massacre of sheep perpetrated by a wolf in a nature reserve in Nassogne in mid-May once again raises many concerns among sheep breeders in Wallonia, whether they are professional or complementary breeders. And the question of “getting equipped” with protection dogs, different from the border collie’s sheepdogs, is turning more and more often in their heads. For now, according to a Facebook group specifically created on this subject, there would be around 35 guard dogs for 25 Walloon breeders.
