The American president, who tested positive again after being released from quarantine for the first time, is no longer infected with the coronavirus. A second test will be carried out before he can come out of his isolation.
US President Joe Biden tested negative for Covid-19 on Saturday, the White House announced. The septuagenarian leader remains in isolation pending a second negative test, said his doctor, Kevin O’Connor.
“The president continues to feel very well,” he said in a letter.
Tested positive for Covid-19 for the first time on July 21, Joe Biden had tested negative, then suffered a “rebound” in positivity on July 30.
Isolated in the White House for a week, the president should resume his travels soon. According to his official agenda, he must go to the American state of Kentucky, victim of devastating floods.
