Marie-Line and Jean-Philippe Chaloin, bakers based in Blanzy, receive ministers Bruno Le Maire and Olivia Grégoire this afternoon. They arrived around 1:30 p.m.
This is an opportunity to present their difficulties in light of the explosion in electricity prices. “In January 2022 we paid 1,500 euros, now the price is multiplied by 11.” explains Marie-Line.
“If we don’t get help, we will close,” warns Jean-Philippe.
