Montreal SPCA: Pinpin the cat is looking for a family for life

Each week, the Salut Bonjour team highlights adorable animals, all rescued by the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Montreal (SPCA). These adorable little beasts have one thing in common: they are looking for a family that is able to give them the proper care and offer them love at will.

For more than 150 years, the mission of the Montreal SPCA has been to protect animals from neglect, abuse and exploitation, to represent their interests and ensure their welfare, to promote public awareness and sensitivity towards them.

On average, cats have to wait 7 days and dogs 10 days before being welcomed by a new family. If a large majority of them quickly find a home, this is not the case for all. Some, because of their age, race or temperament, are forced to stay longer.

The organization does not discriminate: in addition to four-legged animals, it accepts birds, rats, turtles or rodents. This week, the Montreal SPCA is looking for a new family for this adorable animal!

Sweet Pinpin is looking for a family!

Among the many cats looking for a family is the adorable 15-year-old Pinpin, who is sure to melt your heart. The Montreal SPCA team fell in love with her dreamy personality and sweet soul. Pinpin so deserves to find a loving family that will take care of him!

Very sociable, relaxed and not at all afraid, he loves to receive attention from people and therefore a lot of caresses. In return, Pinpin will thank you with beautiful purrs and soft meows.

Like many older cats, Pinpin has diabetes, but that doesn’t stop him from enjoying an excellent quality of life. He is therefore looking for a caring family, ready to give him an injection twice a day to control his disease. However, be aware that the situation is perfectly manageable because Pinpin is very docile. He also has to consume special food and is monitored by a vet who makes sure he is well.

To facilitate the adoption of this friendly tom, the Montreal SPCA is reducing the usual adoption fees to $25: agreeing to take care of a diabetic cat is already a very generous gesture.

Adopting Pinpin starts an amazing adventure that promises to be rich in interactions! Your presence will play an important role in his life and you are guaranteed to form exceptional bonds together! Do you have a place in your house for him? Pinpin will be forever grateful to you!
