Quiet, it’s moving.
Across the Atlantic, the MLS will test new rules to fight against simulations and time saving. Initially, it is the MLS Next Pro, the third American division, which will act as a guinea pig. The first point therefore concerns potential simulations. Thus, when a player falls and stays on the ground for more than 15 seconds, his medical staff will have to evacuate him. For his part, the player in question will wait three minutes before being allowed to return to the field. Only guards will be exempt from this new law.
Starting with this week’s matches, we’re introducing two new rules focused on off-field treatment and red card suspensions. Details: https://t.co/9bFrXGAg4L pic.twitter.com/DeZ2UfQuYe

Useful clarification: cases of suspected concussion or other serious problems are not concerned. “This will allow our healthcare professionals to treat our athletes in a less pressured and more controlled environment, and will also guard against players or teams deliberately delaying play.” , Satisfied Ali Curtis, vice-president of the MLS Next Pro. Another modification: if a player is expelled, he will have to serve his suspension against the same opponent. The traditional rule (automatic suspension for the next match) will only apply if there is no more match scheduled against the opponent in question.
Neymar hadn’t planned to end his career in the United States, had he?
