The magic of Christmas … and television hovered over the Place de la Résistance on Friday, October 11. The Duchy hosted the filming of an episode of chef Cyril Lignac’s flagship show broadcast on M6, Tous en cuisine, menus de fête.
At 19.15, a crowd has already formed around the food truck, where Jérôme Anthony, Cyril Lignac’s sidekick, will be sitting. Everyone is looking for the best location not to miss a moment of the event.
“We came from Urzy to the apartment. Our daughter and grandson in Lyon love the show. We see it from time to time. But it’s not easy to find a place,’ note Pascale and Didier.
Children first
Jérôme is happy. He has just managed to have his photo taken with Jérôme Anthony: “We come from Devay, near Decize. We came across the footage by accident, we didn’t know… It’s more my wife who watches the show.” Peggy nods:
I like the concept. They are friendly and funny. They make us want to cook.
19:45, night has fallen. The filming starts. Under the camera’s eye, the audience claps wildly. Positioned just behind Jérôme Anthony, children wearing Christmas hats are in the front row and the show is due to air on a Wednesday in December. “The pictures will come later,” he promises them.
Ships in December
A speaker broadcasts the voice of Cyril Lignac, who delivers his recipes and cooking tips from Paris. Despite the distance, the two presenters appear as usual accomplices. “Are you going to manage to impress me every day with your recipes? Are you actually the Olympic leader? », Jérôme Anthony jokes. “And you, are you going to surprise me every day with your Christmas sweaters? », replies Cyril Lignac. “I’m the one who knits them!” », Jérôme Anthony laughs.

The chef explains step by step how to make a winter vegetable tarte tatin… Rutabaga, parsnip, not forgetting goat cheese! Jérôme Anthony strives to follow him, asking a child here or there to get involved. Less than twenty minutes have passed, the pie is ready to go into the oven. “Wow,” the audience marvels as they clap.
20.16 the hosts start the ad break. The Brotherhood of Chocolate Lovers are invited to take their place to appear on screen while the dessert is being made… But shh, we’ll say no more. The show will be available to watch in a few weeks.
