The summer season is fast approaching, bringing with it its share of new businesses at Toulouse. Restaurants, bars, ready-to-wear, interior decoration… We take stock of the signs who land in the agglomeration.
Five Guys arrives in downtown Toulouse
On the side of Toulouse city centerwe can cite the arrival of fast food Five Guys which arrives on July 11, 2022 at 24 rue Alsace-Lorraine, opposite the Monoprix. This is the second establishment of the American restaurant chain in the department after that of Blagnac.
Tuesday, June 14, the first store Visionary was inaugurated at 23 rue des Puits Clos. The shop designed by Toulouse residents Bigflo and Oli and malick Seck will be set up over 138 m² and two separate areas: the store section, where you can find all the products offered on the e-shop (sweatshirts, t-shirts, pants, accessories, etc.) and store exclusives, as well as a coffee area to relax for a moment.
Openings at the Cartoucherie
The neighborhood of the Cartridge factory will not be outdone with the opening of Ammunition, an imposing brasserie on the main square on avenue de Grande-Bretagne. “This brasserie intends to defend the French art of living by revisiting the great classics of our brasserie gastronomy”, explains Nicolas Le Petitcorps, at the origin of the project with his partner Chrystelle Cao.
Still on the big place of the Cartoucherie, the Thai restaurant chain Pitaya opened a new establishment on Wednesday June 15. This is the brand’s seventh restaurant in and around the Pink City. The previous one had opened in the Balma-Gramont shopping center last April.

The Boutiques Saint-Georges welcome a bakery
In the hypercentre of the Pink City, the Saint-Georges shopping center maintains the mystery about the identity of the future shops that will occupy its gallery. However, we know that “two to three stores will open very soon”.
A new address, known and open this time, is to be discovered at Boutiques Saint-Georges. it’s about the Artisan Bakery. As its name suggests, there is (organic) bread made on site. The workshop is even visible to customers.
Centrakor and Normal in Portet-sur-Garonne
Normalthis is the latest opening in Portet-sur-Garonne shopping center. After two inaugurations in the center of the Pink City (rue Saint-Rome and Alsace-Lorraine), the Danish retail chain is packing its bags in one of the large shopping malls in the agglomeration. Normal will open its doors in Portet on the 1er next July. And obviously, this is only the beginning since the brand is working on an opening in the Espaces Fenouillet gallery.
For gourmets, two openings are planned for the 3e quarter of 2022: The Bagel Shack and even) Pitaya.
Also in the commercial area of Portet, the Cargo group has opened a new store centrakor on May 17, on 2,605 m². It is located outside the Center at entrance 5 (replacing PicWic Toys).
A paradise for carnivores in Fenouillet
A new restaurant, well known to carnivores, has just opened in the Fenouillet shopping centre. Since June 15, Hippopotamus opened its fourth around the Pink City. On the menu, there are essential cuts of 100% French beef: flank steak, entrecôte, sirloin, prime rib…
Two upcoming openings in Blagnac
At the Blagnac shopping center, currently under construction, the famous lingerie brand Intimissimi has been open since mid-May. Right next to this new store, customers will be able to find a store Calzedonia. The latter has moved from its previous location.
On the side of new arrivals, the center is preparing to welcome clothing stores Tezenis and Jott. The first will open at the end of June, while the opening of the second is scheduled for the beginning of July.
Good to know for owners of electric cars, about fifteen “ Superchargers » Tesla are being installed in the parking lot of the Blagnac shopping centre.
Things are moving at Espace Gramont
At Espace Gramont, the women’s ready-to-wear brand jennyfer remains in the shopping center but moves from its current location to join premises near the Porte du Comminges. The inauguration is scheduled for August.
Conversely, the store Adidas Originals going to leave the mall. The brand with the three stripes is currently carrying out a complete destocking.
