Created in January 2015, the firm assists companies – from start-ups to large groups – as well as investment funds in their issues of corporate law, innovative technology law and labor law.

Anxious to support its clients in their growing needs and to respond to the new requests it receives, Walter Billet Avocats is expanding each of its dedicated teams by welcoming 4 collaborators: Elodie Vardon joins the corporate department, led by Fabien Billet, while Baptistine Bapst and Laura Sabbah-Benayoun join the IP/IT practice, led by Alan Walter, and Chloé Bensac strengthens the labor law division, led by Carine Cohen.

Tailor-made advice based on a global approach

In its three fields of intervention, which the firm applies in particular to the digital, e-commerce, health, retail, cosmetics and fashion sectors, Walter Billet Avocats ensures that it supports its clients by retaining a comprehensive approach that goes beyond the legal dimension alone. “It is essential to decompartmentalize the law in order to provide responses in line with the economic environment of companies, explain the three partners of the firm. We retained this basic premise by placing ourselves at the heart of the innovation ecosystem, at the time of our launch, and we are making sure to apply it today in each of the areas in which we are developing. “.

With this approach, the firm positions itself alongside its clients to enable them to evolve in the face of a complex legal and regulatory environment. “For example, during our interventions aimed at ensuring compliance with the provisions of the GDPR, we ensure that our advice always takes into account the user experience and the client’s marketing requirements”, explains Alan Walter. .

And Carine Cohen continues: “In terms of labor law, we alert companies to the need to be proactive when it comes to negotiating collective agreements or setting up mandatory compliance systems, to be in phase with the evolution of the subjects of the moment. This is the case for everything that currently relates to issues of whistleblower protection systems, or even in terms of gender equality in the workplace. “.
