Good news for fast food lovers. The construction of the Burger King has finally started in the town of Brives-Charensac. The first earthworks are in progress on the former site of the Teissier company, Côte de Tirebœuf. The local opening of a “BK” is particularly awaited by the many fans of the Whopper, the brand’s signature burger.
The new fast food chain will be part of the brand new premises with the so-called “Burgundy” decoration, the latest Burger King France decor that mixes modernity and a throwback to American diners of the 1950s. The new 500 m2 building will be able to accommodate up to 140 people seated. It will be located on a plot of 3,570 m2 “so that the drive service is made possible, which induces car traffic around the building”.

The structure will be built in a wooden frame with a gray brown metallic coating. Vegetated areas and around ten trees should be planted around the future Burger King. The main access will be created at the level of the Tireboeuf coast. The entrance to the “drive” will be at the back of the restaurant, by rue Genebret.
“The work should be fairly quick now. The construction site took a lot of delay because of a problem of wall to be consolidated. If all goes well, I think the Burger King could open for next spring, ”announces Gilles Delabre, mayor of Brives-Charensac. It should be noted that the installation of the new restaurant stems from Burger King France’s territorial network strategy. For now, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region has 44 restaurants.
