There’s not much I can say about The Last of Us, given that (showrunner Craig Mazin) can’t meaningfully jump-start the writing and casting yet. But he and (co-creator Neil Druckmann) have a good idea of what they’re doing.
Season 2 will take a big leap forward from a “spectacular” standpoint, especially regarding the Clickers (the infected in the game, ed. note), but it will also have characters with more nuanced and more complex dynamics, whether it’s f .eg Joel, Ellie and beyond.
