4,200 mentors ready to support students in the region

Choosing the right degree, finding relevant internships, not dropping out… So many worries that students have to face, often alone. To alleviate this loneliness, which is sometimes difficult to live with, the Article 1 association launched the Dema1.org platform in September 2021. This allows in a simple and free way to connect young students and serious active adults, eager to to help them.

The association, which works for equal opportunities, will mobilize more than 40,000 mentors in France by the end of the 2023 school year, including 4,200 in Auvergne Rhône-Alpes.

Since 2016, no less than 12,700 students have been supported in the region. “Mentoring is one of the solutions that enables thousands of young people from working-class backgrounds to succeed in their studies and gain access to a professional career that matches their ambitions,” explains Benjamin Blavier, co-founder of the Article 1 Association. , which does not. intend to stop there.
