It all started with a report. A woman who tracks videos posted on the Internet. It shows a man sexually assaulting dogs. The process seems the same each time: the individual who lives in particular in the department of Cher proposes to keep animals whose owners must be absent. This is when the acts would be committed.

The images and videos are then shared on social networks. “He shares photos on a zoophilic site and he approaches people via Facebook. It is extremely worrying to see that people allow themselves such acts in broad daylight and talk about it freely”worries Muriel Arnal, president of the One Voice association, which has just lodged a complaint in Bourges.

“An abject alert”

In a tweet published by the association, a tweet embellished with a blurred video that we have decided not to publish, One Voice explains that it has received “an abject alert. Border collies, Bernese mountain dogs, German shepherds… are victims of sexual assault of a dog sitter. These dogs entrusted by people who are unaware of what their companions are going through. We are filing a complaint. We call on all families who have been able to entrust their dog to this dog sitter in his twenties to contact us , we will graciously represent them in court“.

For the Animal Rights Association, no question of allowing such acts to pass. “We must neutralize this individual. Summer is coming and people risk entrusting their dog to this man. He is committing atrocities and he does not hide that he is doing this in the absence of the families”insists Muriel Arnal.

This individual must be treated and put out of harm’s way

It is still impossible to estimate the number of dogs victims of this sexual abuse. An investigation should make it possible to know more. For One Voice, it is urgent to act. “This man does not feel almighty, he feels he brings well-being to the dogs. He thinks that females want to be raped and that males want to ride him. We must not let these people anymore do this with impunity”concludes Muriel Arnal.
