The Moroccan Association of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies will launch its E-constat application in all Moroccan cities from December 1, 2022, following a test period since February in the city of Casablanca as a pilot site.

This application aims to dematerialize the amicable report paper by generating a electronic report which uses the same presentation and the same information as in paper format, explains a press release from FMSAR.

This application, developed under the leadership of the Moroccan Federation of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies (FMSAR)is installed exclusively on the ticket inspectors’ mobile phones. This makes it easy and quick to report a material accident to insurance companies.

Drivers who do not use an official observer will continue to use the paper accident report to report the facts and circumstances of a traffic accident resulting in property damage, the statement said.

For reports prepared digitally by the reporting agents, an E-report certificate containing the report number and the vehicle registration number is issued to enable the download of the electronic report and to make the claim declaration to their insurance intermediaries (agents, brokers and direct administration offices of insurance companies).
