According to this study,
68% of the French believe that you drive at 110 km/h
instead of 130 km/h on the motorways would be an acceptable climatic measure.
This measure had been
proposed in 2020 by the Citizen’s Climate Convention
but rejected by Emmanuel Macron, cooled by the failure of the restriction to 80 km/h on the secondary network.
