Every week, several people get together to go for a walk from Neufchatel-en-Bray (Seine-Maritime). Nothing surprising so far!
The specificity, however, lies in the fact that each walker has a dog.
For several weeks, a small group of hikers made up of a human and canine duo, meets every Saturday at 2 p.m. in the car park located along the Béthune near the company Leblon Delienne.
“We are going on an educational ride”
The leader of the group is called Marcel Lefebvre :
We are not an association. We are simply acquaintances who come from Callengeville, the Grandes-Ventes, Ménonval, Saint-Saëns, finally from everywhere. We go on an educational ride with our pet. We do about 6 km of different routes with a short break of a quarter of an hour to water our dogs.
Marcel is a former dog trainer firefighters. He practiced in Briançon and Caen. He still practices dog training.
You won’t find a phone number to join the group of about thirty people, but a Facebook page of a private group called “Marche avec Marcel”.
Word of mouth was enough to make us known.
From the smallest Pinscher to the largest Saint Bernard, all dog breeds are welcome as well as their favorite owners.
