Kimochi, here is the name of this new sushi bar and in particular sushi burgers that opens its doors in Paris. Go to Passage des Panoramas to discover this Japanese restaurant with a unique and delicious concept.
We take you on a discovery tour Kimo-chithis new one Japanese restaurant to Paris in the 2nd arrondissement, which opened its doors in Galerie Montmartre, a wing of Passage of the Panoramas.
So we go to discover this new unique and original concept that has something to seduce. Kimo-chihe is the younger brother of Sushi star which is already pleasing us in the 17th arrondissement. At the helm of the kitchens, sushi chef Jiyi, who worked for Ralph’s and various Japanese hot spots, wonderfully combines traditional Japanese cuisine with the finesse of French gastronomy. He delivers fusion cuisine that is both traditional and modern.
At Kimochi you can find the entire Sushi Étoile menu with different and varied rolls, Karaage chicken divine, tokayakis generous, gyoza which we like and nigiri and other sashimi. But the special thing about the place is offering sushi burgers.
So let’s face it, at first we said to ourselves sushi burger, it will be hard to eat! But honestly, we had fun and ate it all up in no time. With his grilled rice bun minute, its rich flavorful fillings and its sauces, it is a true explosion in the mouth. All burgers are made from fresh quality products.
On the menu there are several sushi burger recipes: the Spicy tuna which combines spicy tuna, avocado, wakame, rocket and cucumber, salmon tartare, which, as the name suggests, offers you salmon tartar married with avocado, fried onions, rocket, red radish and a house sauce. Truffle mania which has something to please lovers truffle with half-cooked salmon, truffle puree, braised Emmental cheese, rocket, wakame, red radish and homemade sauce. You also have the version eel delicious, version prawns in tempura and version vegetarian eggplant and grilled Emmentaler.
Personally we loved Salmon tartare half hot and cold, crispy and fresh at the same time but also the Truffle mania ultra generous and rich in flavour. Don’t forget to finish with a good dessert. For you creme brulee cheesecake, the frozen mochis or the delicious homemade tiramisu version matcha, chocolate or Nutella.
The prices are classic, counting €7 for the karaages and other gyozas and between €13 and €18 for the 8 rolls. that sushi burgermore consistent and more gourmet, is between €17 and €20, from vegetarian to truffle version.
room side, Kimo-chi presents himself as a great central bar where you can sit and see the chief officer before your eyes. A few tables have been added along the facade and on the terrace for sunny days. Opposite there is also a bar belonging to the house, which offers a full menu of beers and sakes. We love the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of the place, reminiscent of Japanese izakayas.
Open every day except Monday, the restaurant awaits you from 12.00 to 14.30 and from 18.30 to 22.30. What if we tested sushi burger ?
