The Cantine et Gamelle brand is expanding. There is already a fairly extensive catering offer in the sector and we will try to gain market share in this area”.
Work with local products
Cantine et Gamelle’s concept is to cook food at the feet of large companies in rehabilitated shipping containers. To get ahead in the social economy, the brand surfs on homemade and on local products. The menu changes with the seasons. A kitchen that favors the short circuit and which many inhabitants of Toulouse have already adopted. “We have applied for a grant, which is being investigated at regional level, to establish a network of network suppliers of local products”.
Jérémie Moles explains: “Today we work with 20% local products, and we would like to collaborate with many more producers in the region. This requires purchasing equipment, a truck, and hiring someone to survey the producers. We no longer want to go through a central purchasing body”.
The average ticket for a meal is 14 euros
On the menu, there is no shortage of choice at Cantine et Gamelle, in Balma. From salads, to sandwiches, burgers, bowls or even the dish of the day… There is something for everyone.
As for the prices, count 12.90 euros for a bowl, 10.90 euros for a salad and 5.50 euros for a sandwich. An accessible lunch therefore for all budgets. The average ticket for a meal is 14 euros.
As for this food court in Balma, there is a capacity of 60 seated people and 40 outside. Small and pleasant service: in order not to waste time during the lunch break, it is possible to order your meal on the restaurant’s website.
